Training

If you want to learn more about Sandbag technology, then come and do a 1-day course at UBU Home.

We offer a one day course run by our specialised trainer Tony Florence who has a rich history and extensive experience of the sandbag technology.

In the morning we focus on the theoretical elements of the technology.

This includes seven modules:

  1. Concept module

  2. Fabrication module

  3. Breaking Ground module

  4. Super Structure module

  5. Services and Fittings module

  6. Roofing module

  7. Finishing module

In the afternoon we get people active and focus on the practical. Course participants will learn how to make and erect a frame, fill bags and learn how to pack the bags with the custom made paddles.
